ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF softball team hits the road for a three-game series with Tulsa at the Collins Family Softball Complex.

The Knights and Golden Hurricane commence the series on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET followed by a Friday battle at 6 p.m. ET. The series will conclude on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET.

The game will be live stream on Hurricane Vision and live stats will also be available.

UCF is currently 28-14 overall and 7-5 in the American Athletic Conference after dropping their latest series with South Florida.

THE OPPONENT

  • Tulsa enters the weekend with a 28-15 overall record and a 9-3 record in The American.
  • The Golden Hurricane have won all four of their previous conference series’ this season. They defeated USF, Memphis, Houston, and East Carolina.
  • On a two-game skid, the Golden Hurricane dropped the series finale against ECU last weekend and fell to No. 13 Oklahoma State Tuesday evening.
  • Tulsa holds a one-game advantage in the all-time series with the Knights, 20-21.
  • Last season, the Knights swept Tulsa in Orlando and extending their five-game winning streak against the Golden Hurricane.
  • Tulsa is currently second in The American standings, just one game back from South Florida and two games ahead of third place, UCF.

KNIGHT BITES

  • THAT TOP ERA: As a pitching staff, the Knights boast the best-earned run average in the conference. Between the arms of Alea White and Breanna Vasquez, UCF has a 1.68 ERA. The Knights are also 10th in the nation in ERA.
  • NATIONAL NEWS: Alea White picked up her 20th win of the season with a 3-2 win over Wichita State. White is ninth in the country in wins and is fourth all-time in program history with 63 career wins.
  • CONFERENCE STANDINGS: The Knights are third in the conference standings after dropping their last two series (Wichita State and South Florida). UCF is three games behind leader, South Florida.
  • DOUBLE OR NOTHING: UCF leads the conference in doubles per game (1.48) as they total 62 for the season. Tamesha Glover leads the team with 13.
  • ROAD WARRIORS: UCF is 5-1 on the road this year, outscoring opponents 33-14 hitting .290 with a .413 slugging percentage.
