ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF track and field team returns to action at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, hosted by Miami this weekend.

On Friday, UCF will compete in the hammer throw, which will follow the men’s 2 p.m. start time.
Saturday’s field events begin at 2 p.m. with the discus. UCF will also compete in the long jump, pole vault and shot put.
On the track, the Knights will begin at 3 p.m. with the 4x100 relay. UCF will also have competitors in the 1500-meter run, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter dash 100-meter dash, 800-meter run, 400-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash.
The Knights return to action after a bye week from competition. Through its first three meets, UCF has seen a pair of freshmen records fall as Devin D’Oliveira set the 400-meter hurdles mark while Charlotte Crook bumped Anne-Marie Blaney off the 1500-meter run mark.
UCF is also well-represented on the American Athletic Conference performance list, boasting top 10 marks in 13 different events. Six of those feature multiple Knights among the top 10 marks and UCF has three among the top 10 in the 200-meter dash.
