The Knights (23-5, 12-3 The American) and the Cougars (15-13, 9-6 The American) tip off at 8 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.

Notes to Know
- UCF’s 52-42 win over Tulane on Saturday gave the Knights 23 wins on the season – the most in the program’s NCAA Division I history.
- The Knights also clinched the second seed for this week’s American Athletic Conference Championship – their highest seed since the 2011 Conference USA Championship.
- UCF received votes in both the AP and USA Today/WBCA Top 25 this week. UCF remained in the Top 25 of the NCAA RPI for the 11th straight week.
- Kay Kay Wright leads the Knights with 18.3 points per game, 3.8 assists per contest and 1.9 steals per game.
- The Orlando native became the first Knight to earn National Player of the Week honors, as she was recognized by the USBWA on Feb. 26. On Feb. 25, she became the first Knight to earn multiple Player of the Week honors in The American.
- In the Feb. 23 victory over Temple, Wright became the 19th player in UCF history to reach 1,000 points.
- Nyala Shuler is UCF’s leading rebounder with 7.0 boards per contest and surpassed the 800-rebound mark in the win over the Owls.
- Shuler and Brittney Smith lead the squad with 18 blocks.
- Kayla Thigpen has scored in double figures 14 times this season and is UCF’s second leading scorer on the season at 9.6 points per game.
Making History…Again
- In each of her first three seasons at the helm, Coach “ABE” has led her squad to milestone after milestone.
- After matching the program’s most DI wins during postseason play last season, UCF has already surpassed the mark with a game left in the regular season.
- The Knights also matched their most wins in The American at 12.
- UCF once again finished the regular season higher than its preseason selection as the Knights were picked to finish fourth in The American preseason poll.
Scouting the Opponents
- Monday marks the second meeting between UCF and Houston this season. The Knights hold a 14-6 all-time advantage and have won five straight against the Cougars.
- Houston is 15-13 overall and clinched the four seed with a 9-6 mark in The American.
- Dorian Branch and Angela Harris lead the Cougars with 10.6 points per game and 10.3 points per game, respectively.
- Serithia Hawkins paces Houston with 7.4 rebounds per contest and Alyssa Okoene has 30 blocks.
- Four different Cougars have made 25 or more three-pointers, led by Branch and Octavia Barnes’ 49 each.
Next up, UCF will head to Uncasville, Conn. for the American Athletic Conference Championship. The Knights will enjoy a first-round bye and face the winner of the No. 7/No. 10 matchup at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 9.
