A QUICK RECAP
* UCF hit the road for a four-game road swing.
* The four games came against teams that were ranked as high as 14 in at least one of the national polls.
* The Black and Gold struck for six runs in the fifth to knock off Florida State.
* The Knights suffered their first sweep since 2017, despite taking a first-inning lead in all three games at ECU.

* Was the lone Knight to make three appearances on the weekend.
* Set a career high with four strikeouts in two innings of work at Florida State.
* Five punchouts were the second most by a member of the pitching staff last week.
* Came out of the bullpen and surrendered just one hit and a walk in one inning of work against ECU in the series finale.
HITTER OF THE WEEK
Ray Alejo,

* Extended hitting streak to eight games with base knocks in all four games, including two three-hit outings.
* Led the team with three stolen bases and three runs scored.
* Went perfect on the base paths with three steals.
* Posted a 3-for-5 outing with two RBI and two runs scored in the series finale against ECU.
* Four of his nine hits were for extra bases.
TEAM NOTES
* The Knights recorded five home runs, all on the weekend against ECU.
* UCF swiped four bases in five attempts.
* Tyler Osik led the team with six RBI with a .389 clip at the plate.
* Kyle Kemp struck out six batters over two appearances and earned his first save as a Knight against Florida State.
* The top three of the order (Mika, Osik and Alejo) combined for 26 of UCF’s 37 hits on the week.
* Anthony George launched his second home run of the season and totaled four base hits on the week.
* The Knights recorded 14 extra base hits, led by Alejo with four.
* UCF is now 4-5 against ranked opposition.
* The Black and Gold has swept an opponent nine times and has been swept twice in the Greg Lovelady era.
* The pitching staff threw 7 2/3 innings in the series finale against ECU, just a 1/3 of an inning shy of the season high for a nine-inning game.
