ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – UCF men’s golf alumni hit the links this week in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., competing in the Mackenzie Tour at the Mission Inn Golf Resort.
Greg Eason (’14), Ryan Stovash (’17), Kyle Wilshire (’14), and Hojin Kang (’12) all competed this week.
Eason tied for fourth overall after shooting a four-round total of 282(-6) to secure his tour card. Eason tallied 15 birdies and parred 49 holes in one his best outings of the year.
Stovash and Wilshire both finished tied for 31st with a 292(+4) total. Stovash compiled 11 birdies and parred 48 holes, while Wilshire nearly matched Stovash with 11 birdies and 47 pars. Wilshire shot an even 72 Friday afternoon to move up five spots to finish tied for 13st.
Kang wrapped up his week with a 299 (+11). Kang racked up an impressive 15 birdies and parred 39 holes in total.
The Mackenzie Tour is part of the PGA Tour Canada and is part of the path to the Web.com Tour and the PGA Tour.
The UCF men’s golf team’s next tournament is March 16 and 17 in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla., competing in the Mission Inn Spring Tournament.
