ORLANDO, Fla (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men’s tennis team is scheduled to play four matches in three days, starting on Sunday. The Knights have not seen match action in 13 days.

The Knights will travel to Birmingham, Ala. for a double header with Samford and UAB with both matches taking place on Samford’s campus. Sunday will begin with UCF taking on UAB at 9 a.m. Following that match, the Knights will play Samford at 1 p.m.

UCF finally returns home on Tuesday as they take on Bethune-Cookman in a double header. This will be the first time the Knights have played a home match since Jan. 31, their only home match of the season. The first match of the twin bill begins at 10 a.m. with the second match getting underway at 2:30 p.m. The Black and Gold are 14-0 all-time against Bethune-Cookman.

A pair of ranked singles players look to lead the way for UCF this weekend. No. 22 Gabriel Decamps has been outstanding at the top spot in the lineup to this point in the season. No. 120 Alan Rubio has played well in the second, third, and fourth positions in 2019. UCF's top doubles tandem of Trey Hilderbrand and Bogdan Pavel look to extend their winning streak to three matches. They are 4-2 in the number one spot this season.
