ORLANDO, Fla (UCFKnights.com) – The No. 30 UCF women’s team returns home to the UCF Collegiate Tennis Center at the USTA National Campus and are set to play three matches in four days beginning on Thursday.

Fresh off a four-match winning streak, the Knights will take on the Georgia State Panthers on Thursday at 5 p.m. They are 2-5 on the season and are coming off a 4-0 sweep of Samford. The Black and Gold are 12-3 all-time against Georgia State.

UCF will have an off day before returning to action on Saturday against No. 40 Denver. They have gone 7-1 in 2019 and are riding a six-match winning streak. No. 91 Bianca Wok leads Denver at the No. 1 position. The Knights have only played Denver two times in their history, as the two teams have split the two decisions. The last time the teams met was back in 2007. Denver will play Georgia State on Friday before playing the Knights on Saturday.

Sunday is College MatchDay and will see the No. 48 Florida Gators come to town. Florida is 2-3 on the season to this point, losing to No. 20 FSU, No. 16 NC State and No. 25 California. The Gators will face No. 28 Oklahoma before playing the Knights for College MatchDay.

The Gators will bring three ranked singles players to the USTA National Campus on Sunday. No. 12 Ida Jarlskog leads the Gators with a 3-1 record with a 2-0 mark at the top spot. No. 33 McCartney Kessler has seen time at the first and second positions as well, going 2-2 to this point. No. 52 Victoria Emma has only seen one decision in her 2019 campaign thus far, going 0-1 at the number four spot.

No. 119 Marie Mattel and No. 29 Valeriya Zeleva look to stay undefeated on the season, as both come into Thursday’s match with an 8-0 record in singles play. Zeleva looks to stay perfect with her partner Ksenia Kuznetsova who are 7-0 at the number one spot. The top pair for the Knights are No. 22 in the nation.
