A win on Saturday would match UCF’s overall and conference win total from a season ago with six regular season games still remaining. The Knights (18-5, 8-3) are out to the program’s best 23-game start since the 2003-04 campaign.

Winning its third straight game to remain in third place in the American Athletic Conference standings will have to come against a team in Memphis that handed UCF’s its largest defeat of 2018-19. The Tigers took down the Knights 77-57 back on Jan. 27 at FedEx Forum.

On Saturday, the Knights will take on the Tigers from the comforts of home, where they have a 12-2 record this season. Most recently, UCF defeated rival South Florida 78-65 on Wednesday to extend its streak of wins over the Bulls to seven.

Prior to the January loss in Bluff City, the Knights had enjoyed a similar winning streak against the Tigers. UCF had won four straight over Memphis, including both games of the home-and-home series a year ago.
