The Knights (15-4, 5-2) return to the comforts of home, where they are currently 10-1 on the season, having won nine in a row at CFE Arena. UCF remains in a tie for third place in The American and will need to defend its home court to keep pace in the league.
Thursday completes the first home-and-home conference series of the season, as UCF and UConn squared off back on Jan. 5 in Hartford. The Knights came away victorious in that one, 65-53 behind a 23-point outing from Aubrey Dawkins.
The Huskies lead the all-time series 11-3, but it’s UCF that has won the last two times out. Last season the Knights won 70-61 at CFE Arena for their first victory over UConn since the two teams joined The American.
Since the two teams met earlier this month, UConn has gone 3-2 with wins over SMU, Tulane and Wichita State. The Huskies (12-8, 3-4) are led by a trio of guards, including Jalen Adams, who ranks sixth in the league with 18.2 points per game.

- The Knights are 10-1 at home in 2018-19.
- UCF is 15-0 when leading with two minutes remaining in the game.
- The Knights are also 13-0 when tied or leading in rebound margin, but were outrebounded 46-28 in the loss at Memphis.
- UConn leads the all-time series 4-1 in games played in Orlando.
- BJ Taylor is ninth all-time at UCF with 1,409 career points.
- Terrell Allen is 14th in the nation with a 3.28 assist-to-turnover ratio.
- Tacko Fall, UCF’s all-time leader in blocked shots, ranks seventh in the nation with 2.84 blocks per game.
