The Knights (11-2, 1-0) look to keep their stellar start to the 2018-19 season going this weekend, and will aim to do it somewhere they’ve never won. UCF will attempt to win at UConn (9-5, 0-1) for the first time ever when the two teams meet at the XL Center.

A home win over Temple extended UCF’s win streak to five games this past Wednesday. BJ Taylor led the Knights with 24 points as the Knights led by as many as 13 points and outscored the Owls 44-16 in the paint.

UConn, meanwhile, dropped its first game in league play on Wednesday. The Huskies fell to South Florida by a score of 76-68 in Tampa, their second straight loss and third defeat in their last five times out.

The Huskies lead the all-time series 11-2, but UCF won the last time the two teams met, a 70-61 victory in Orlando on Jan. 31 last season.
