ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF track and field returns to Clemson this weekend for the Bob Pollock Invitational.
In addition to UCF and Clemson, the two-day meet will feature Alabama, Auburn, Florida A&M, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest competing in the Clemson University Indoor Complex.
Friday’s events will begin at 3 p.m. with the 60-meter hurdles, long jump and pole vault. The Knights will also be represented in the mile, 60-meter dash, shot put, 400-meter dash and distance medley relay on Friday.
The weight throw and triple jump will open Saturday action at 11:30 a.m. On the track, the 800-meter run will start at noon and will be followed by the 200-meter dash and 4x400 relay.
Last weekend, the Knights kicked off their indoor campaign at the Clemson Invitational. During the opening day, UCF sent a pair – Zharia Moore and Imani Clark – to the finals in the 60m hurdles and the 60m dash, respectively. The Knights also placed a trio in the top five of the shot put. On Saturday, Gabby Durant won the weight throw with a personal-best distance as the Knights once again placed a trio in the top five.
