ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men’s golf team heads out west to Pebble Beach, Calif., to compete in their final tournament of the fall, Nov. 5-7.
Bobby Bai, Kyler Tate, Clement Charmasson, Jalen Ledger, and Pedro Lencart Silva will represent UCF at the Saint Mary’s Invitational. The Knights will play at Poppy Hills Golf Course and play 54-holes on the par 71, 6945-yard course.
The Black and Gold will be competing against 11 other teams including Arizona, Oregon State, Utah, and Oregon.
UCF is coming off their three-day home tournament, the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational held at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. The Knights finished tied for 10th and shot 877 as a team over the three days.
Bai led the Knights with a 214(-2) and finished tied for 14th overall. Tate ranked 42nd overall on Golfstat, finished with a 219(+3) after putting up a 73(+1) in the final round. He shot 73 all three days, while freshman Charmasson also shot 219(+3).
All three rounds will feature live scoring found at golfstat.com.
UCF will tee off Monday morning.
Qualifying Information
- Bobby Bai is exempt for the 2018 St. Mary’s Collegiate by virtue of a Top-30 finish at the 2018 Tavistock Collegiate Invitational.
- Kyler Tate is exempt for the 2018 St. Mary’s Collegiate by virtue of a Top-30 finish at the 2018 Tavistock Collegiate Invitational.
- Clement Charmasson is exempt for the 2018 St. Mary’s Collegiate by virtue of a Top-30 finish at the 2018 Tavistock Collegiate Invitational.
- Jalen Ledger will play in the 4th spot in the lineup as a coaches’ selection for the 2018 St. Mary’s Collegiate.
- Pedro Lencart will play in the 5th spot in the lineup as a coaches’ selection for the 2018 St. Mary’s Collegiate.
