ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s basketball team rounds out a three-game homestand on Friday, hosting Chattanooga in a 5 p.m. contest at CFE Arena.

 

The Knights (5-1) will host the Mocs (4-4) in an earlier tip time. The first 500 fans will receive a UCF Mason Jar and a limited supply of the Concession of the Game - mousse - will be available at the concession stand.

Knight Notes

  • UCF brings a 5-1 record into Friday’s contest and are receiving votes in the USA Today/WBCA Top 25 for the third straight week.
  • Kay Kay Wright has scored in double figures in all six games, has a 20-point and 30-point performance this season and is UCF’s leading scorer with 19.5 points per game.
  • The Orlando native is seven assists shy of becoming the ninth Knight in program history with 300 career assists.
  • UCF’s leading rebounder is Nyala Shuler with 8.3 boards per contest.
  • She moved into sixth all-time in career rebounds with 670. She also joined the career top 10 in blocks with 68.

 

Scouting the Mocs

  • Chattanooga enters the game with a 4-4 overall record.
  • The programs will meet for the second straight season. UCF earned a 58-57 victory in Chattanooga last season to even the all-time series at 1-1.
  • Lakelyn Bouldin leads the Mocs with 13.5 points per game and has made a team-leading 15 three-pointers this season. Eboni Williams averages 4.5 rebounds per contest and Molly Melton has a team-high 16 steals.
