Last season, the Knights snapped a three-game losing streak when they made their way to Tuscaloosa and took down then No. 24 Alabama for the program’s first ever true road victory over a ranked team. This season, UCF (5-1) has won four in a row and welcomes the Crimson Tide (5-1) to Orlando.

Terrell Allen, who has been stellar to start this 2018-19 season, was one of the heroes in the win over Alabama a year ago. The point guard had 16 points and six assists, filling in for the injured B.J. Taylor, leading UCF to the 65-62 triumph.

Through six games of his junior year, playing alongside Taylor in the starting lineup, Allen ranks fourth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio. The Upper Marlboro, Md., native has accumulated 31 assists to just four turnovers, recording at least four assists in every game.

Alabama, meanwhile, comes in having won each of its last three times out, topping Ball State, Wichita State and most recently Murray State. Avery Johnson’s group is 5-1 overall, having lost one game at the Charleston Classic.
