ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson has announced four members of her 2019 recruiting class.
Kiera Brown, Breyanna Frazier, Destiny Thomas and Georgia Gayle all signed National Letters of Intent to join the Knights for the 2019-20 campaign.
Brown, a Palm Beach Gardens native, is a three-time district champion with Palm Beach Gardens. After earning second team all-county honors as a freshman and sophomore, the guard was a first team pick following her junior campaign, averaging 15.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.9 steals and 3.9 assists per game.
Frazier, a native of Bayonne, N.J., led Marist High School to the Hudson Country Tournament semifinal. The 5-9 guard averaged 17.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game during her junior season.
Thomas, a Forest Park, Ga., native, is a two-time AJC Honorable Mention AAAAAA All-State honoree. The 6-4 forward averaged 7.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per game during her senior season.
Gayle joins the Knights after two successful seasons at Northwest Florida. A two-time First Team All-Panhandle Conference selection, the 5-11 guard averaged 12.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 2018-19. A native of Yorkshire, Great Britain, Gayle was also named to the NJCAA Nationals All-Tournament Team in 2017-18.
