ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) –When the UCF men’s and women’s basketball teams return to home action this Saturday, the Knights will be doing so on a newly named court. Saturday will be the first games to be played on the new Jasper Contractors Court at CFE Arena.
“The entire team at Jasper Contractors is excited about the 2018-2019 UCF basketball season as we expand our current UCF Athletics partnership to include naming rights of the court at CFE Arena,” said Brian Wedding, CEO & President of Jasper Contractors. “Our signage in Spectrum Stadium and on the backdrop for all home game press conferences this football season has generated a lot of positive feedback across Central Florida.”
This marks the first time the court at CFE Arena has been named. The Arena opened in 2007.
“The Jasper Contractors Court at CFE arena is a wonderful college and community venue that showcases top NCAA talent as well as entertainment events,” Wedding said. “We look forward to joining Knight Nation this season as we watch this year’s teams compete for the American Athletic Conference title.”
The UCF women’s basketball team takes on Richmond in its first game of the UCF Thanksgiving Tournament, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The men’s basketball team will then play host to Northern Kentucky at 6 p.m. later that evening.
