ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Baseball is set to host the ABCA Barnstromers Clinic on December 9.
This one-day event is set for baseball coaches that will feature presentations from ABCA member coaches from the region. Registration is open to the public. Presentations vary from video instruction to on-field demonstrations to live practice commentary.
"We're really excited to host this great event," head coach Greg Lovelady said. "Coaches coaching coaches, learning and sharing about this game is always a great thing. I'm excited to hear some of the guys speak and learn from them. It's going to be a great day."
Registration starts at 7:45 a.m. with the clinic running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.
Head coach Greg Lovelady and assistant coach Ryan Klosterman will be the UCF representatives. Lovelady will talk about the mental game, while Klosterman will discuss infield play.
Other topics for the December 9 clinic will include outfield play, practice planning, pitching, hitting and the use of technology.
Registration for ABCA members is $25 and non-members will be $40.
