Knights Hold Steady at No. 21

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After breaking the program record for longest DI winning streak, the UCF volleyball team held steady at No. 21 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll on Monday.

UCF wrapped up a perfect road season in the American Athletic Conference with a pair of wins at SMU and Houston. The Knights rolled in straight sets against the Mustangs, before rallying from losing the opening set to beat the Cougars 3-1.

After the two wins, the Knights remained at No. 10 in the NCAA RPI.

The Black and Gold will conclude the 2018 regular season with a matchup against South Florida on Wednesday night in The Venue. The Knights will have a chance to seal a perfect record in The American, win three more points in the War On I-4 and honor senior libero Jordan Pingel in a postgame ceremony.
