S. FLORIDA GAME – TIME/TV UPDATE
It was announced on Monday that UCF’s previously scheduled game vs. South Florida on Nov. 23 will be under the six-day window by tv partners. It should announced by Sunday what time and on what network the game will be played.
CINCINNATI GAME - NOTES TO KNOW
- After starting 2018 with nine straight wins, the Knights enter their 10th game of the season still holding the nation’s longest winning streak at 22 games, which is a UCF and American Athletic Conference record. The Knights are one of just four undefeated teams in all of FBS (Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame).
- The Knights have started 9-0 under Heupel following a 35-24 win over Navy. After leading the nation in scoring last season (48.2ppg), UCF is currently eighth in the nation in scoring offense (44.2ppg) and third in the nation in total offense (543.0ypg).
- The UCF defense has forced at least one turnover in all nine games of the 2018 season and in each of the last 28 games, dating back to the 2016 campaign.
- The Knights have scored 30 or more points in 22 consecutive games, which is tied for the 3rd-longest streak in the AP Poll Era (since 1936). The two longer streaks belong to S. Florida (24 straight, 2015-17) and Oregon (23 straight, 2011-12).
- The Knights rank eighth in the nation with 12 scoring drives under one minute.
- Over the last 10 years, UCF ranks 23rd in the nation with 83 victories.

RANKINGS UPDATE
The Knights remained in 11th in the nation in both the Amway Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 Poll this week. UCF is the highest ranked team out of the state of Florida and the top team in the American Athletic Conference.
COLLEGE GAMEDAY
For the first time ever ESPN College GameDay built by the Home Depot will be at UCF this weekend. It also marks the first time GameDay will be at an American Athletic Conference program. Fans are encouraged to come out to support the Knights all Saturday morning as the show airs live from Memory Mall.

On Monday, UCF head coach Josh Heupel met with the media at this weekly press conference to speak on Saturday’s game. He can’t wait.
“It’s exactly what you want as a program,” Heupel said of playing on ABC at 8 p.m. against a ranked opponent. “You want the spotlight on you. You want each game that you play to get bigger.”
He also spoke on ESPN College GameDay coming to UCF this weekend.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to put our logo in front of the entire country,” Heupel said. “They’re going to have an opportunity to see what our game atmosphere is like, the passion and energy that resides within our program.”
