#BuiltByUCF: Moore Signs with Seattle

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – As fall ball came to a close for the UCF baseball team, the Knights received some big league news as former player Dylan Moore was signed to the Seattle Mariners’ 40-man roster late last week.

The 2015 seventh-round MLB Draft pick is coming off a stellar year as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Moore hit. 280 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI over 97 games for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. He was named a Triple-A All Star in 2018. Prior to his promotion to the Sky Sox, Moore notched a .373 batting average with 18 RBI and three homers in 24 appearances for the Biloxi Shuckers.

The 2019 season with be his fifth campaign of professional baseball.

Moore played two seasons for the Knights from 2014 to 15. Over 114 games, he hit .322 with 12 home runs and 80 RBI. Moore was named First Team in The American in 2015 and Second Team in 2014.
