VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (UCFKnights.com) – After two rounds at the Princess Anne Invitational, the UCF women’s golf team is tied for second place. The Knights shot 291 (+11) Saturday afternoon for a two-day total of 575(+15).
UCF was again led by Elizabeth Moon on day two after recording a 71(+1) to end the day. Overall, Moon remains in second after racking up five birdies. The newcomer is just two strokes off the leader from Maryland.
Ana Laura Collado put up 73(+3) and is tied for 12th overall heading into day three after another consistent outing in her first tournament this season.
Maria Balcazar collected four birdies on the day and finished with a 72(+2), while Alyssa Lamoureux finished with a 75(+5) after recording even par on the back nine.
Nicolette Donovan shot an 80 on the day, while Anna Hack, who is competing as an individual, shot a 69(-1).
As a team, UCF leads the field in total birdies with 32.
UCF is ahead of 10 other teams including USF, Cincinnati, and Maryland.
The Knights tee off in the morning on Sunday for the third and final round.
