ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s golf team heads to their third tournament of the fall in Virginia Beach to compete in the Princess Anne Invitational hosted by Old Dominion. The 54-hole, par 70 tournament is being played at Princess Anne Country Club.
The lineup will consist of Elizabeth Moon, Maria Balcazar, Alyssa Lamoureux, Nicolette Donovan, and Ana Laura Collado. Anna Hack will be competing as an individual.
The trip will be Collado’s first tournament of the season as she looks to make an impact for the Knights.
Moon paces UCF with the best stroke average (73.2) followed shortly by Balcazar with a 74.4 average. Moon and Balcazar led the Knights in the Mercedes Benz Championship finished 28th and 46th, respectively.
Lamoureux continues to be a consistent shower for the Knights as she heads to her third consecutive collegiate match in her young career. The newcomer holds an average score of 75.4 strokes per round.
Donovan will be making her second appearance of the season after competing in the Cougar Classic in September. Donovan will participate in the fourth spot in the lineup for the Knights.
Collado is coming off the 2017-18 season with a 77.2 stroke average for nine events and 25 rounds for UCF. Her best finish of the year came at the American Athletic Conference Championship where she tied for 20th shooting 239 over three days.
Hack has played five round this fall averaging 75.8 strokes per round. The senior will be competing as an individual for the first time this season.
