Wilmington, N.C. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s golf team capped off the fall portion of their schedule shooting 303(+15) in the final round at the 17th annual Landfall Tradition.
The Knights finished tied for 12th place and shot 912 over three rounds. UCF finished tied with No. 28 Michigan State and ahead of No.19 Purdue, LSU, No. 20 Furman, Notre Dame, and UNCW.
The Black and Gold were led by Maria Balcazar who ended her day with a 73(+1) and five birdies. The senior shot 225(+9) overall and finished tied for 24th out of 96 golfers.
Elizabeth Moon finished her day with a 77(+5) after shooting even par on the front nine. Over the three rounds, Moon wraps up the tournament tied for 42nd with a 228(+12).
Nicolette Donovan also ended her day with a 77(+5) to finish with a 232(+16), while Alyssa Lamoureux finished with 76(+4) on Sunday for a total of 231(+15).
Ana Laura Collado shot 78(+6) during her final round for a 232(+16) three-day total. Collado was among the best at par fives shooting three-under, while Balcazar was two-under.
UCF was the second-best team in the field on par fives shooting even over the three rounds.
UP NEXT
UCF picks up in the spring on Monday, Jan. 28 for the Florida Challenge in Tampa. It will be a one-day event.
