UCF Set For The American Media Days

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – With the 2018-19 regular season just around the corner, UCF head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson and a trio of members of the UCF women’s basketball team are set to travel to Philadelphia for the annual American Athletic Conference Media Days.

Coach “ABE”, Nyala Shuler, Kay Kay Wright and Masseny Kaba will head to Philly on Sunday to participate in the two-day event.

On Sunday evening, they will take part in a photo shoot with The American and will begin interviews and activities on Monday afternoon.

The American Preseason Coaches poll, along with the Preseason All-Conference Teams, will be announced prior to the start of the women’s portion of Media Day.

Monday’s live show, hosted by Hali Oughton and Monica McNutt, will feature an interview with Coach “ABE” and Nyala Shuler on The American’s Facebook page. The Coaches’ Roundtables will be hosted by Andy Katz and will stream on The American’s Twitter account.

UCF will also host its own media day for local media in Orlando on Thursday, Oct. 18. Players will be available at noon in the UCF practice facility, followed by Coach “ABE” at 12:15 p.m.
