ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF softball team will be playing Team China as part of their fall ball slate head coach Cindy Ball announced on Monday.

The Knights and Team China will faceoff on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the UCF Softball Complex with a 1 p.m. first pitch. The game comes just a day after UCF hosts Florida.

The event is free and open to the public along will all fall contests.

This matchup with Team China will make it eight fall games for UCF.

The Knights grabbed an 11-2 win (10-innings) over Eastern Florida State last Friday night at he UCF Softball Complex. Alea White started in the circle throwing four innings and recording nine strikeouts without allowing a single hit. Newcomers Ashley Stephenson and Breanna Vasquez also dealt for UCF each throwing three innings each and giving up a total of two hits while striking out eight.

UP NEXT
The Black and Gold continue their fall season with a doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 12 against Indian River State College and Seminole State College beginning at 4 p.m.
