Milton Named National Player of the Week

ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- After accounting for 6 touchdowns in UCF's 45-14 rout of Pittsburgh Saturday, quarterback McKenzie Milton has been named the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Generation UCAN.

Milton passed for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns, while rushing for 51 yards and 2 scores. It was the second straight week Milton has accounted for 6 total touchdowns.

This is the second time Milton has been named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week. He earned that honor Nov. 26, 2017 following UCF's 49-42 victory over South Florida in last season's War On I-4. It marks the third Walter Camp National Player of the Week honor for the Knights, as Terrance Plummer was honored on the defensive side of the ball back in October of 2014, following UCF's overtime victory over BYU.

The Knights are back in action again Saturday at 7 p.m., when they host SMU at Spectrum Stadium. Click the link to PURCHASE TICKETS.
