ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men’s tennis team is set for their second tournament of the fall this weekend with the Bedford Cup at the USTA National Campus.
The Knights will face a loaded field, featuring players from 10 Division I schools across the state of Florida. Tournament play will open on Friday morning and will run through Sunday afternoon.
This will be the first chance for fans to watch the 2018-19 UCF men’s tennis team in person. After adding the No. 8 ranked recruiting class by the Tennis Recruiting Network, which included ITF Junior Top-15 and ITA No. 3 ranked newcomer Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi, the Knights’ roster consists entirely of freshmen and sophomores.
Gates open every day at 6:50 a.m.
UCF already posted a strong start to the fall as Gabriel DeCamps won the singles title at the 51st Annual Southern Intercollegiate Championships earlier this month.
