ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF cross country team returns to action on Saturday, heading to the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville.
The women’s 5K race will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.
In their last outing, the Knights took second, just three points behind FIU, at the UCF Knights Invitational. UCF finished ahead of Florida Atlantic and Miami after coming in behind the two programs in their season-opening 5K race at FAU on Aug. 31.
Three Knights finished in the top 10 and five in the top 15. All of UCF’s competitors finished in the top 35.
In the first two races of 2018, Victoria Jung has been the first Knight to cross the finish line. Charlotte Crook made her collegiate debut on Sept. 15 with a sixth place overall finish.
