Knoxville, Tenn. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF women’s golf team wrapped up their second tournament of the fall with a 906-total score over 54-holes. The Knights finished alone in 12th place beating out BYU and Iowa.
Through the rain, UCF was led by freshman Elizabeth Moon shooting a 72 in her final round. The Forrest City, Ark., native concluded the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship tied for 28th after picking up a trio of birdies Tuesday.
On day two, Alyssa Lamoureux shot a 74(+3) in the last 18. The freshman was impressive on the front nine picking up a birdie and eight pars making the turn one-under.
Maria Balcazar and Anna Hack each shot 76 in their final rounds, while Chinatsu Kobayashi finished with a 78.
The Knights converted 164 total pars over the three rounds and recorded 23 birdies.
