ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Athletics announced today that it will launch a mobile student ticketing platform that will allow students to use their mobile device to scan into all home football and men's basketball games beginning this fall. UCF students who plan to attend football and men's basketball games this season must visit UCFStudentTix.com for details and sign up to make sure they receive notifications when their tickets are ready to be claimed.
As always, entry to UCF Athletics events for students remains free.
"Our students are the ones who bring a great deal of energy to Spectrum Stadium," UCF Deputy AD for Brand Advancement Scott Carr said. "With expectations for large crowds this season, this new mobile ticket experience will hopefully make things more efficient for students entering the games."
Students will still need to present their UCF ID to gain entry into Spectrum Stadium or CFE Arena. All UCF students are allowed to claim tickets. Claiming a ticket to a game does not guarantee entry and early arrival is still encouraged.
Why use UCFStudentTix.com?
- This service will help efficiency of entry, as student ID's sometimes don't scan properly
- Students can purchase guest passes for UCF Football directly from the mobile platform, rather than having to visit CFE Arena or Spectrum Stadium to purchase them in person
- Students will receive information directly from UCF Athletics once they've registered for UCFStudentTix.com
- UCF Athletics will have a gauge of the number of students planning to attend and will be able to prepare accordingly
The Knights will be utilizing mobile student ticketing technology from Experience (expapp.com).
The conversion to an all-mobile solution creates a quick, simple and efficient way for students to access their game day ticket. Students can access their free student ticket at UCFStudentTix.com on their mobile device by logging in with their student email address. Student guest passes will also be available for purchase directly through UCFStudentTix.com .
