ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Inclement weather forced Sunday's contest between No. 16 UCF Women's Soccer and FGCU to be called off.
It is undetermined at this time if the game will be made up at a later date.
UCF will now play its season opener at Chapel Hill, N.C. on Aug. 24 when the Knights take on No. 17 Texas. The Black and Gold will remain in town to face No. 6 UNC on Aug. 26. The Knights hold the most recent victories in the series against both the Longhorns and the Tar Heels. UCF topped Texas, 2-0, in 2014 and earned a 2-1 double overtime victory against then-No. 4 UNC at the UCF Soccer Complex last season.
