ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's golf team has earned recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and 18Birdies as one of the top academic team in the nation.
The Knights were named to the All-Academic Team by the GCAA and 18Birdies. Teams with a team grade-point-average of 3.0 or better earned the distinction. UCF was one of 127 teams to earn the award adding to the record number 222 teams throughout all collegiate golf to earn GPA's of 3.0 or better.
This the second consecutive year that UCF has been recognized for this award.
This is the second set of academic awards for the Knights as Manuel Elvira, Juuso Kahlos, Jake Grula, Colin Kresl, and Jalen Ledger were named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team in June.
