ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF head coach Dana Boone announced the 2018 cross country schedule on Friday, which features six in-state meets, including the NCAA South Region Championship.
UCF opens its season on Aug. 31, traveling to Boca Raton for the FAU Invitational.
The Knights will return to campus to host the UCF Alumni Invite on Sept. 15.
The Black and Gold continue action in the Sunshine State on Sept. 22, heading to the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville.
On Oct. 6, the Knights make the short trip across town for the 22nd Annual Disney Cross Country Classic at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
The Knights will compete at the FSU Invitational on Oct. 12 as a final preparation for the American Athletic Conference Championship, held in New Orleans on Oct. 27.
UCF returns to Tallahassee for the NCAA South Region Championship on Nov. 9.
Rising junior Victoria Jung and rising sophomore Beth Williams look to lead the Knights in 2018 after scoring for the Black and Gold at the conference championship last season. UCF also returns experience in Brittany Gill, Shiree Hinds and Kayla McGowan.
