ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – UCF rising junior Julie Poulsen was named a Pocock Honorable Mention All-American by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
Poulsen earned First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors after helping the Knights to their fourth consecutive league title in May. A CRCA All-Region honoree, she was a member of the Varsity Eight boat that defended its event title for the fourth straight year and helped the squad tie its highest NCAA Championship finish at 18th.
A native of Odder, Poulsen represented Denmark at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in both 2016 and 2017. She will again be the stroke of the Four at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in Poland on
Poulsen is the first Knight to earn CRCA All-America honors since Chelsey Lauzon garnered second team laurels in 2012.
