2018 Position Preview: Offensive Line

2018 Preview - The football season is just around the corner. Leading into camp, fans will have an opportunity to get a look at what the Knights will have in store for the 2018 campaign with position-by-position previews. Watch highlights of returners and read up on what to expect this fall.

With three returning starters and plenty of experience, the Knights' offensive line will look to continue to protect its quarterbacks and serve its running backs with plenty of room to run.

Leading the charge up front are returning starters Wyatt Miller and Jordan Johnson

Miller, a senior, started every game at right tackle in UCF's National Championship season of 2017 and has 34 career starts to his name. He was a Second Team All-Conference selection in The American last season.

Jordan Johnson returns to the center position. The junior has started all but one game in his UCF career. He's on the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list and was a  First Team All-AAC performer in 2017.

Jake Brown started 12 games last season. The junior is versatile enough to play both guard and tackle. He started 11 games at left guard in 2017 and slid out to left tackle in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Tyler Hudanick suffered a knee injury midway through the 2016 season. He returned to action in 2017, starting at Maryland and seeing action in nine games, including a start vs. Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

A handful of transfers and backups from last season will also be counted on heavily. Local product Parker Boudreaux transferred from Notre Dame last season and wil be eligible in 2018. The Knights also added junior college transfers Josh McMullen and Trevor Elbert, who began his career at Texas A&M. Bailey Granier comes to UCF as a graduate transfer from Vanderbilt.
