COLUMBUS, Ohio (UCFKnights.com) – Former UCF Knight Dylan Moore played in the 2018 Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday night for the Pacific Coast League All-Stars.

Checking in midway through the game, Moore went 0-for-1 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base to help the PCL to a 12-7 victory over the International League All-Stars.

In his first plate appearance in the sixth inning, Moore drew a seven-pitch walk. He then stole second and advanced to third on an errant throw by the catcher later in the inning. Still with one out in the sixth, Moore was brought home by Rocky Gale of the Oklahoma City Dodgers on a single to center field. His run extended the PCL lead to 10-7, after the IL squad made it an 8-7 game in the fifth.

Moore was called up to the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sox back in May. The infielder is hitting .296 with 22 RBI through 51 games with his new ball club.

Moore was a last minute replacement for fellow Sky Sox teammate Nate Orf, who received a call-up to the Milwaukee Brewers earlier this week.
