Jermaine Taylor has enjoyed a successful professional career in both Europe and the NBA's G League, having played for nine years now.

This summer he began another new venture after he was drafted 14th overall in the Big 3 Basketball League 2018 Draft.

The Big 3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league featuring current professional players and retired NBA players, created by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz.

Taylor was drafted by the Ball Hogs and played his first game this past Friday. His Ball Hogs are 0-2 after falling to Tri-State by a score of 51-34 in Chicago.

The former UCF guard, who most recently played in the G League for the Salt Lake City Stars, scored seven points and grabbed two rebounds, accounting for a 7-0 run all by himself in the second half.

Taylor and the Ball Hogs are scheduled to play again this Friday at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif. They will take on the Ghost Ballers, led by Mike Bibby and Carlos Boozer in the second game of the night.
