ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The accolades continue to roll in for the UCF rowing team as the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced its postseason awards on Monday.
The CRCA replaced its All Region award with the 2018 All-Conference Team. UCF's seven All-American Athletic Conference honorees are now eligible for the 2018 All-America awards selection.
For the third consecutive year, seven Knights earned all-conference accolades. Julie Poulsen, Marija Medelinskaite, Viktorija Senkute and Edvina Nesukaityte earned first team honors while Grace Lindberg, Nicole Mayer and Catherine Harms garnered second team laurels.
Six Knights also achieved CRCA National Scholar-Athlete distinction. Grace Lindberg, Edvina Nesukaityte and Rachel Rabinowitz were tabbed for the second straight season, while Mia Cleary, Sydney Hays and Julie Poulsen were first time honorees.
Each rower had a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher through the fall semester for the current competition year.
