ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - As Major League Soccer (MLS) takes a quick break during the start of the 2018 World Cup, the Knights in the pros are heating up. Below is a recap of how some of the Knights have played out in the first half of the 2018 MLS season.

Sean Johnson has started all of NYCFC's 15 games in goal this season recording 51 saves with an 8-3-4 record. He recorded a season-high nine saves in a 2-1 win against San Jose as he has registered the sixth most saves so far this season. Johnson has five shutouts in 2018, tied for third most in the MLS with a save percentage of 71.8%.




After being drafted in 2015 as the third overall pick, Williams picked up his first MLS goal on Apr. 7th against LAFC to add to Atlanta United's 5-0 win. Through 10 games played this season, Williams has racked up 151 minutes and six shots.




Warren Creavalle has played in four games and has one start in the 2018 season with the Philadelphia Union for a total of 186 minutes including an assist against Atlanta. In his career, the 2012 UCF graduate has 127 MLS appearances and five goals in 76 starts.

In the United Soccer League (USL), Kevan George, Hadji Barry, and Ryan Roushandel are all continuing their careers in the MLS affiliated league. Barry is with the Swope Park Rangers, the Sporting KC affiliate, while George competes with the Charlotte Independence (Colorado Rapids) and Roushandel with San Antonio FC (NYCFC).

Internationally, Matias Pyysalo, McKauley Tulloch, and Deshorn Brown are all competing in professional leagues in Europe and Central America. Pyysalo plays in his home country of Finland, while Brown plays in Spain and Tulloch continuing in El Salvador.
