ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) -- UCF head women's golf coach Emily Marron has announced the 2018-19 schedule for her squad.
The Knights begin the 2018-19 campaign at the Cougar Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston (S.C.) Sept. 9-11. UCF will play two tournaments in September, with the month wrapping up in Knoxville, Tenn. at the Mercedes Benz Classic Sept. 17-18.
October brings a trip to the ODU Invite in Norfolk, Va. Oct. 6-8. The fall portion of the schedule concludes later in the month with an Oct. 26-28 visit to Wilmington, N.C. and the Landfall Tradition.
From January through March, UCF won't leave the State of Florida. The traditional opening to the spring women's college golf season in the Florida returns in January. UCF will take part in the Florida Challenge in Tampa on Jan. 28.
The Knights host their home tournament -- the UCF Challenge -- Feb. 3-5 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. UCF then heads to the Space Coast for the Moon Golf Invite, played in Melbourne and hosted by Louisville. That event is slated for Feb. 18-19. UCF opens the month of March with its annual trip to Gainesville and the Lady Gator Invitational March 9-10.
The Knights take part in their final tuneup for postseason play April 8-9 at the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, Ga.
The American Athletic Conference Championship, hosted by UCF, takes place April 14-16 at teh Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast, Fla.
