ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – Another exciting home slate of games is on tap for the UCF men's basketball team in 2018-19, as the American Athletic Conference announced its league pairings for the upcoming season on Thursday.
The Knights will host nine American opponents in 2018-19, including two NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago in Cincinnati and Houston, and a pair of teams rich in history with first year head coaches in Penny Hardaway's Memphis and Danny Hurley's UConn.
UCF will play Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Temple, UConn and USF twice during the year, once at home and once on the road. The Knights will only host ECU and Tulsa, and only go on the road to take on Wichita State and Tulane.
The Knights' non-conference home game against Alabama was previously announced, as UCF will host the Crimson Tide Nov. 29 at CFE Arena. The Black and Gold will also participate in the inaugural Myrtle Beach Invitational Nov. 15-18.
The complete 2018-19 schedule will be released at a later date.
