ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – Another game time for the 2018 season has been set. When the UCF football team hosts South Carolina State in week two of the college football season, kickoff at Spectrum Stadium will be 6 p.m. on ESPN3.
It marks the fourth primetime game to be announced for the Knights this season and the third at home. UCF will also host FAU on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. and Temple on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN.
UCF is coming off of an undefeated 13-0 National Championship season, having won its third conference title in the last five years, and defeating Auburn in the 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl for its second New Year's Six Bowl win since the 2014.
The Knights will play at Spectrum Stadium seven times in 2018, hosting South Carolina State, Florida Atlantic, Pittsburgh, SMU, Temple, Navy and Cincinnati. UCF gets things started Thursday, Aug. 30 at UConn.
