ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The end of the 2018 NCAA season marked the midway point for a majority of UCF baseball players. 13 Knights will head to six different summer collegiate leagues for the next few months.
The Black and Gold will be represented in leagues across the country from Washington to Virginia. The majority of the NCAA-sanctioned leagues opened up play last weekend.
SUMMER BALL NOTES
• Jeffrey Hakanson and Jack Sinclair are playing in the inaugural season of the Expedition League for the Western Nebraska Pioneers.
• Garrett Westberg will spend the summer in Port Angeles, Wash., 3,207 miles away from John Euliano Park.
• The Knights will have four sets of teammates playing together this summer.
