Josh Peppers (2003-07)
* Scored 1,376 points at UCF, which ranks 10th all-time
* Two-time All-Conference selection (2005, 2007)
* Led Knights to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments (2004, 2005)
* Averaged 14.3 points per game as a senior in 2006-07
* Ranks fourth all-time at UCF with 123 games played
Josh Peppers just finished his 11th season of professional basketball, leading Fukuoka Rizing to its second straight championship. Peppers, who has played his entire career in Japan, is in his third stint with Fukuoka.
In 2016-17 Fukuoka joined the Japanese B League in its third division. After winning the championship, the team was elevated to the second division for the 2017-18 campaign. Peppers led Fukuoka to a 47-13 record and West Division Championship.
Peppers averaged 16.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, while shooting 52.8 percent from the floor for the season. Following the regular season, he was named Second Team All-League.
Fukuoka advanced to the championship round against number one seed Akita. After falling in Game One, Peppers led his squad to a win in Game Two and then a tie-breaker mini-game victory in Game Three.
Peppers, who scored 28 points and 19 points in the two games, was named Final MVP for his performance. The victory elevates Fukuoka to the top division of the league for next season.
