STILLWATER, Okla. (UCFKnights.com) - The sun set on the second day of the NCAA National Championships as the Knights were the last group to finish their 18 holes for the day.
UCF recorded a day-two score of 299 ( 11) after teeing off in the afternoon wave at 3:10 p.m. ET. It was Bobby Bai that led the Knights with a 73 ( 1) after dominating the front nine with a 34 (-2) including a trio of birdies.
Tommy Cao and Juuso Kahlos both finished three-over par with a 75 each, while Kyler Tate rounded out day two with a 76 ( 4). Manuel Elvira was the fifth-place finisher recording an 80 after the second round.

Collectively, the Knights gathered 13 birdies giving them 28 in total over the first two rounds. UCF finished the day strong with three of the five players recording birdies on the 18th hole.
UCF has had no problem with the long ball this tournament scoring -7 on par fives. The Knights cap off Saturday tied for 21st as they enter the third round paired with No. 25 Kentucky and No. 20 UNLV.
The squad will tee off at 1:22 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon to commence the final round of stroke play.
