TAMPA, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF track and field team continued action at the NCAA East Region Preliminary on Friday at the USF Track.
Rosie Chamberlain closed out her UCF career with her fourth consecutive NCAA East Region Preliminary in the quarterfinals of the 800m. She crossed the line in 2:08.75.
A native of Exeter, England, Chamberlain stamped her name across the UCF record books, holding the school 800m indoor and outdoor records. She also set the 800m indoor and outdoor freshman records, and was a member of the distance medley relay and 4x800m relay record-setting squads.
Jhane' Carter and Gabby Durant will close out the weekend in the hammer throw starting at 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
