CLEARWATER, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the UCF baseball team will play its second game of the 2018 American Athletic Conference Tournament, presented by Visit St. Pete Clearwater, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The league elected to move the game time up in order to ensure that all games will be played, so the Knights will face the No. 1 seed Houston on Robin Roberts Field, which is located next to Spectrum Field.
UCF dropped its tournament opener on Tuesday morning to the No. 4 seed ECU. The Black and Gold struck for a trio of runs in the first innings, but could not keep pace after the Pirates scored five unanswered runs.
Marc Daniels will have the call on 96.9 FM/740 AM The Game. Due to playing on a Robin Roberts Field, the game will not be on The American Digital Network Plus Facebook page.
