A QUICK RECAP
• Tuesday night's game at Jacksonville was cancelled due to rain in the area.
• Knights open weekend series with Tulane by rallying from a pair of three-run deficits. Logan Heiser delivered a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the 12th.
Chris Williams tossed an eight-inning gem on the mound with seven strikeouts, before Max Wood plated the winning run on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.
• After a prolonged delay on Saturday, both clubs elected to cancel the regular season finale. UCF then celebrated its five senior members in a ceremony in the John Euliano Park Premium Club.

• After the Knights taxed their bullpen in the opener, Williams gave the Black and Gold the long start they needed.
• The righty worked around a solo homer in the first innings and only allowed one hit in the ensuing seven innings.
• At one point, Williams retired 11 batters in a row between the fourth and seventh innings.
 
TEAM NOTES
• The Knights won their third straight conference series.
• UCF improved to 6-0 in extra inning games in 2018.
• The Black and Gold has a record of 7-0 in walk-offs this season.
• The series opener against Tulane was the 13th game with multiple home runs.
Brandon Hernandez and Ray Alejo both went yard for the first time in their careers on Friday morning.
• Alejo and Matthew Mika took their combined stolen base tally to 60 swipes.

• The Knights are the No. 5 seed in the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
• The will be the visiting team in the opening game against No. 4 seed ECU.
• The winner of Tuesday's game will play on Thursday at 3 p.m., while the loser will play in an elimination game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
