• The Knights picked up their third series win of the year in The American.
• UCF celebrated Joe Skinner Knight on Friday to honor Joe Skinner, a UCF Baseball signee and close friend of many current Knights who passed away from a rare form of leukemia. The Knights raised $24,223 for the SkinnerStrong Foundation.
• Ray Alejo and Tyler Osik both ripped three-RBI extra-base hits as the Knights opened the series with a 9-5 win.
• UCF struck for four runs in the first inning, but the bats went silent afterwards. A trio of errors led to a 5-4 loss.
• On Sunday, Matthew Mika and Rylan Thomas homered, and Jackson Webb stole home to lead the Black and Gold to an 8-4 win in the series finale.

• Went 3-for-3 in the series finale, scoring three times.

TEAM NOTES
• UCF topped Wichita State in the first ever meeting between the two programs.
• The Knights were 6-for-8 when stealing.
• Sunday was the first time a Knight stole home since James Vasquez did it against Texas Tech on Feb. 23, 2013.
• Rylan Thomas extended his on-base streak to 52 games.
• The sophomore matched the single-season on-base streak at 44 games.
• Thomas cracked the top-10 in career home runs with 26, moving up to ninth.
• Thomas also joined the 100-RBI Club at UCF, needing just 102 games to accomplish the feat.
• Thad Ward recorded his second save of the year. The junior struck out four over a seven-out save on Friday night.
• The Knights took 11 free passes on Friday night, nine walks and two hit by pitches.
• Max Wood drove in a pair of RBI on the weekend.
