Breakfast Breaks Record

ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) - Held last week at Interlachen Country Club, the Fifth Annual UCF Football Breakfast saw a record amount of funds raised to support the Knights.

Hosted by MPC Wealth and Shutts & Bowen, the annual event has become a spring tradition in Orlando. Over the course of the last five years, the UCF Football Breakfast has raised more than $150,000. This year's total of more than $40,000 was the most in the event's history.

All funds raised at this year's UCF Football Breakfast will go to support the UCF Football Excellence Fund.

"This university and football program are so intertwined into the community here in Orlando," head coach Josh Heupel said. "Breakfasts like this are a great opportunity for me to get out and meet a lot of people that are passionate about the university and the football program. I can't thank MPC (Wealth) and Shutts & Bowen enough for their (support)."
